STUDENTS’ MINISTRY
Our vision is to see students saved, whole, liberated, discipled, nurtured, harnessed, prepared, and ready to serve God with their whole heart and for the entirety of their life! Our mission is to produce students that “live to set the light on fire.”
MUSIC & FINE ARTS’ MINISTRY
The sound and interpretation of Jesus is what our music ministry strives to produce. We have an array of vocalists, musicians, dancers, actors, actresses, and composers who work together to assure a powerful sound, a real interpretive expression, and fluid motion that shares the gospel of Jesus Christ through dance, music and drama.
MEDIA & MARKETING MINISTRY
The image of our church is tremendously important, as it is the branding aspect of our ministry. The media and technology ministry work through a lens of 21st century relevance to create an attractive and appealing image through use of social media and technology that captures the unexplainable moments of worship and participation.
MARRIAGE ON PURPOSE MINISTRY
Covenants are the highest form of agreement. Godly marriages between a husband (man) and a wife (female) are a blessing and are ordained by God. Marriages can be challenging while fulfilling which is why the focus will not be to just maintain a marriage but to be fruitful, multiply, and find restoration in one another to fulfill God’s plan for marriage.
WOMEN OF PURPOSE MINISTRY
Women by nature are nurturers. Women of purpose come together and meet monthly through different forms of fellowship and events that instill Godly principles and teachings to be powerful women whose complete confidence is in Christ that equips women to be better mothers, wives, friends, sisters in Christ and much more. No one understands a woman like a woman!
MEN OF VALOR MINISTRY
Men are called to be protectors, providers and the priest of their homes. When men are in order everything else falls into perfect hierarchy. Men of Valor ministry is designed to hold men accountable to be better men of God to produce change in our culture, community and world. Greater men meet monthly through fellowship and work to represent Jesus Christ through manhood.
SEASONED SAINTS’ MINISTRY
The elder members of our church are the foundation of which our church is built on. T.H.U.S. understands that had it not been for the strength of our pillars and their wisdom we would not be active today. This ministry is for our senior members and meet monthly to spread their seasoned wisdom and experiences amongst the generations that follow their lead.
HEALTH ON PURPOSE MINISTRY
It is of extreme importance that the church is whole mentally, physically, and emotionally. Greater Health is comprised of medical professionals who are called to infiltrate our church with great health and stature that produces longevity and a healthy lifestyle.
SECURITY MINISTRY
The protection of our church is of utmost importance. The Security ministry is comprised of men and/or women who have a desire to be the watchmen of our ministry. It is the ministry that intimidates the entry of opposition through secured protection.
First Impression Ministry
Also known as the first impression ministry are the gatekeepers of the church. This is a ministry that is comprised of pleasant, kind, and impressionable people. Our greeters ministry is designed to encourage and enrich the lives of each person entering the doors of T.H.U.S. by welcoming and supporting them in a positive, friendly and spiritual manner.
OUTREACH MINISTRY
Discipleship is the heart of our church as recorded in Matthew 28:19-20 to reach the lost and hurt and to give them hope. This ministry is also designed to bring people into the body that our bishop may mature them through the word of God that will produce a victorious life in Christ Jesus and be a modern-day disciple.
